Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Is there ascheduling program that shows a series of milestones on a gantt bar?

This would make schedules much shorter.

Regards,

Erik

Hi All,

There was a programme, I have seen, I think it was artemis (I speak under correction), where you could resource a single activity with several resources, and use off-sets. These different resources would be represented by different colours or patterns on a single bar. I think this is the type of thing Erik is envisaging.

You can, of course use Powerproject and put as many milestones, all coded differently if you wish, on the same line.

Jaco,
do you use line of balance (we call them linear diagrams)?

Hi Erik
I would suggest you look at a line of Balance I think you mean more than one milestone per line

Cheers

You can use MSP for the same by customising the field and show on the same line.If it is in limited number you can do in P3 also.
You can apply filters and hide everything except milestones - it is simple.
You can move them to a special milestone phase and the phase bar will show all events. If you collapse this phase you will hide individual milestone bars.
I don’t think that it is reasonable because you will hide also milestone descriptions.
