Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I am new for this forum and i ahve no idea how can add any question to this. I have one question about the actual duratin in MS project-2003. i am using 24 hous calander. whan i updated my actual duration Eg 10 hrs then in project summary it shows only 2.41 hrs. similiarlr when 20 hrs it appears 4.83. i cannot understand why in summary it comes only nearly one fourth duration

4.83 Hrs 2.41 Hrs
20 Hrs 10 Hrs

I know what % Complete is. It is just the actual duration divided by the total duration. So if you have a 10 day task and 6 days of actual duration and 4 days of remaining duration, then % Complete = 60%. But I don't know what you mean by "duration delay". What is it?

Hi Ahmed,

This is probably a very simplistic solution, but have you tried experimenting with 'Types' and using fixing work / effort driven when updating actuals?
