Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi again,

Really in toruble with my overdue uni assignment..I would appreciate the help guys.

When I assign equipments(crane, excavator) to the project (From assign resources) it changes the project completion date

It is the same problem when I assign a regular meeting as well.

What can I do to keep the project duration same and change the project cost only when I add these cost into the project?

Seyma,
Right click and select task information or double click the activity. Click Advance tab and un-tick effort driven before adding new resource and your duration should not move.
