Fully implemented project lifecycle procedures for risk, value and lessons learnt across whole investment portfolio. Ensured that all projects had appropriate design risk assessments for the reduction in workforce safety incidents within the construction phase. Part of a three-man working group, which consisted of the Head of Project Planning & Risk Management, to select Network Rail’s new risk management software.

After joining Metronet as Head of Project Risk (BCV), I assumed Group responsibility for Track post the merger with Metronet SSL. As Programme Risk Manager I was responsible for one of Metronet’s largest Capital Programmes, the Track Programme whose value is in excess of £800m. I was part of the core team that renegotiated a new Alliance Agreement with Balfour Beatty and helped to create a Joint Project Management Team. Monitored, analysed and reported on Capital Projects risk information. Guided the development of risk management using Active Risk Manager (ARM).

Production of project quarterly and period reports from Primavera by designing and developing a SQL/Crystal Reporting DBs within Six Sigma processes and through specific 'hands-on' coaching.

Integrated Primavera with Regional ERP systems (SAP VCM, BAAN) in line with SOX compliance rules.
