Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear Planners

Please help me to calculate the labours/gang for following activities:

a) 75 mm thick Screed

Duration available = 4 weeks, Quantity =2116 m2

How many labours/Gangs are required to finish this job in 4 weeks?

b) 20mm thick Render over blockwork. Skim over render board

Duration available = 3 weeks, Quantity =2116 m2

How many labours/Gangs are required to complete this job in 3 weeks?

c) Flooring

5mm thick carpet tiles= 1253 m2

How many labours/Gangs are required to finish this job in 3 weeks?

5mm approx for vinyl tiles = 754 m2

How many labours/Gangs are required to finish this job in 3 weeks?

5mm approx for Matting = 109 m2

How many labours/Gangs are required to finish this job in 3 weeks?

Thanks

Hi Shaik

It is a good idea to check the original date of a thread before taking time to prepare a detailed answer.

It may not be appreciated 4 years later.

Best regards

Nornally it is 60Mhrs - 85 Mhrs with an AVG of - 75 Mhrs/Ton However depends upon the type of work (Raft,Wall,Column,Slab)& dia of rebar.

Assumed a 5-day week for the inputs
The production rates:

75 mm screed : 3 sqm/hr
Render : 3 sqm/hr
Carpet tile : 3 sqm/hr
Vinyl sheet : 5 sqm/hr.

PS: There was a miscalculation w.r.t Vinyl sheetings.

For the screed get it mechanicaly pumped and laid, should take a week and remember it needs to go off before you work on it whatever way its thrown in, and dry before you lay anything on it (that could take up to 7 weeks).

Hi James,

These are the rough figures.

A) 4.5 nos
B) 6 nos
C) Carpet tiles - 3.5 nos
Vinyl sheets - 6.3 nos
I am not having data for the matting. Trust this helps.
