Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Guys,

PMC : Project Management Consultant
EPCC Contractor : Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning Contractor.

What is the optimum ratio of manpower/cost between the PMC and the EPCC Contractor?

Let say the total project cost(TPC) is USD 100 million. What will be the typical cost for the PMC? 5%, 10%, 15% of TPC?

Thanks

norzul

It will b anything b/w 1 - 2.5%. Less the project cost higher the % age and higher the project cost, lower the %age. For a project of USD 100 m, PMC fees is most likely to be in the 1.00 - 1.25% range upto a max of say 1.50%.
