Schedule % Complete vs Activity % Complete

hi to all,

Can anybody make me understand that what is the difference between Schedule % Complete & Activity % Complete.

Bcz an activity’s activity complete have 6.82% and when i m inserting a column of of Schedule % Complete the same activity showing 9.09%.

so pls tell me logic behind these factors......

Irfan,
Their answers are all correct. Schedule % Complete is Baseline Planned % (if have baseline) or current Project Planned % Complete (if no baseline assigned) and Activity % Complete is Actual % complete.

The reason why it has 0% on summary bands is because you haven’t cost loaded your schedule. P6 calculation of Progress is based on cost.

It is the Planned Progress of the Baseline...if as per baseline the activity should have been completed...the ’Schedule Perent’ will show 100%. Thanks.

i am not sure but i think activity percent completion is actual progress
while schedule percent completion is the scheduled ( planned progress)
