1.I did Cost Loading For my Project.I am Able to Get the Correct Budget Cost in the Activity Table .But in My Activity Usage Profile Option/Resource Usage Profile I got Difference of 60SAR(Saudi Riyal)
2.When I Import the Same Project to Another PC I got Different Budget Cost & After that if i Run Global Change (Budget Cost = Budget Material Units * Price/Unit).I am able to get the Exact Value in Activity Table & In S Curve I got Same 60 SAR Diff
How can i Fix it.

P6 database is designed to hold up to 8 decimal points in some cases (cost_per_qty for instance is NUMERIC(21,8)) but the P6 interface allows you to see only 2 decimals.

Yeah i guess everybody confront the same problem. This happen too at Primavera 3. So what u need to do just play around the figure.

Anbin,

It’s because of the rounding up the figures. Pro’ly, the data that you imported have more than 3 decimal places but P6 can only accomodate 2 decimal places. What P6 does is round it up accordingly.

Hi Anbin

Sounds like a rounding up / down error.

Make sure that the two data sets are set to the same decimal places.

Best regards
