Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All,
I need to show a ’Tick Box’ (or Checkbox) in my P6 layout, which will be used as an alternative to an ’Indicator’ field.

Can anyone offer any suggestions or steps to include this field in my customised layout.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Nigel

If you’re not using Top Down Estimation you could possibly use the column "Lock Remaining" & give it a new/custom title. This column can be manually ticked or unticked by the user.

Using "Hint Help" on Lock Remaining: "Indicates that the budgeted labor & nonlabor units for the activity will not be modified by top-down estimation"

Just a thought as I’ve never required a tick box (check box) myself.

Regards
Mark
