Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I have recently taken over another planners P6 programme. I have deleted all existing baselines and trying to take a project initial baseline (the programme has had actuals placed onto it already)

When I assign the new project baseline the dates do not match the Start/ Finish dates. The dates are taking the planned Start/ Planned Finish dates.

Why???

Does anyone know how I can baseline the current project dates, NOT the planned start/Finish dates.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply. When I try to change these areas, they are grayed out. I have Super User rights and have tried changing settings in WBS, Activity and Project views.

Any thoughts to why this is happening?

Hi Simon,

Welcome to Planning Planet..

Try to check your Admin --> Admin Preferences --> Earned Value, Earned value calculation, change it to "Budgeted values with current dates".
