Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear friends Iam very new in P6 ..
Before I was using p3.In P3 it is very easy to update the progress.Make a copy of the base line and make Base line as target & update the progress. In manual updation we will get the actual progress & by automatic updation we will get the planned progress which we can use in the monthly progress report Planned Vs Actual.
Now dear friends how I can do these things in P6.Iam very much confused....

With regards
Arun.V

make a copy of the baseline first.\

Go to Project -> maintain baseline and add baseline to be added to the current project.

Then go to Project -> Assign baseline and then select the primary or user baseline.

To update program automatiucally, use spotlight tool.

To update baseline, go to project -> maintain baseline and then click update baseline button on the right hand side.

Cheers,
