Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Assigning last month updates as baseline for this months updates

Dear All,

Whenever i assign last project updates for current month baseline all the actuals till last months updates gives wrong dates. It creats lots of confusion whenever i wanted to compare the current status with the last months status.

Please help me if anybody have the solution for this problem.

Dear Girish,

Go to the Admin, Admin Preferences, Earned Value Calculation Settings and change it to "Budgeted values with current dates"

This will show you the actuals from the last month updates when it is assigned as a baseline to the current month update.
