Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

From last two days, whenever i select a 6 day calender, it gives following message and P6 closes down.

An application event has intercepted.
Please note the event code for reference

Event Code 2DVWV-3590-8

What’s this, and why P6 closes down??

This mesage showing everytime when print preview and page set up. event code JPEGE-2077-2

 

Do you have any solution on this. Appreciated help

Hi Raviraj,

You can change your calendar for the existing Activities using GLOBAL CHANGE.

Calendar = "Select Assign Calendar"

If you Wanted to change the selected activities only then you need to filter prior to run Global change.

Actually, I want to change the calender for the project.

Now, if i go to Enterprise --> Project --> Defaults, then we can chnage the calender there, but it will be effective only for all new activities to be inserted.

How, can I change the calender for the existing activities. (Say, there are 450+ activities).

If I change it from Enterprise - Calender, then it gives the below mentyioned code.

Is there any way out??

Hi,

I too get the following message while changing layout

"An application event has been intercepted. Please note the event code for refrence.

Event Code AVAAO-0596-E"

After that P6 closes.

I contacted Primavera, but not heard anything from them.
