Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I have many clients who are concerned that "Schedule % complete" is based on the baseline’s duration - whereas they would like it based on "work" or earned value.

I think I have a workaround.

Take a fresh copy of the unprogressed baseline.

Set all activities to "auto compute actuals"

Run Apply Actuals to the current data date.

Demote this version to being a baseline.

The "units % complete" from the baseline IS available - and with the "perfect" progress in the baseline plan, "units % complete" is the expected "performance % complete"

This should constitute "Planned % Complete"
