Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Could anyone help with turning the "autoarrange" function off in P5? When I enter a new code value for an activity, the activity jumps to another location w/in the schedule.

Can you try to switch off reorganize Automatically in User preference under application caption.It may work for you.

From the sounds of it you are grouping by the code you are entering. This will always "autoarrange". If by entering the new code, the activity moves to somewhere you don’t want it, then it is probably the wrong code for that activity.
Try grouping differently.
