Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I have moved my project from one computer (old) to another (new)using export and logged in as "admin" user on both machines. I seem to have lost all my filters on the new machine. However when I import a layout, I see the filter is using the old filter and is working correctly despite no reference in the filter table. So what’s happening? My old filters must be hidden so how can I get access to them?

Hi,

Based in my experienced in P6, I used to set-up everything including filters and "Save As" the layout as available to "Project".

Now, everytime I copied the Project & transfer it to another computer, you need to copy as well the necessary layout because, filter is part of that particular layout.
