Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi,

Was wondering if someone could help me with a task regarding exporting.

I want to filter out all the activties due in one week and export it to excel together with all colums. I am sitting in Release:6.2(terminal server)

Appreciate if someone could explain it step by step as I have never done exporing to excel before but I have heard it is possible.

Thanks
Christian

Hi Christian,

You can simply go to Project Menu --> Resource Assignments, try to display all the columns you required by simply right click --> Columns --> Customize. To filter the One (1) week look-ahead try these parameters:

(Any of the following)

Where:      Start “is within range of” DD DD+1WK
Or:      Remaining Early Start “is within range of” DD DD+1WK

When done, go to Edit --> Select All and then right click copy and paste it to Excel sheet.

Or you may try to go to File --> Export --> Spreadsheet - (XLS) and follow the window wizard.

Regards,

Arnold
