Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi all,

Is there any way to keep the total float positive when you use "must finish by"?

Be very careful when using a Mandatory constraint as it ignores all network logic.

Hi Rodrigo,

Using Mandatory Finish as your constrain will remove your total float even you have float originally before constraining your activity. If you used mandatory finish dated earlier than schedule then you will have a negative float. This required changing your logic to override your negative float and change it back to 0 float.
