Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Milestone Costs - P3 to P3e Conversion

Good afternoon all

I have a project in P3 which is resourced and cost loaded. There are also some finish milestone activities in this project which have budgeted costs assigned to them. So far so good.....

When I import this project into P3e the budgeted costs that were assigned to the milestones in P3 become budgeted expense costs in P3e. My standard activity costs become budgeted labour costs.

Does anybody know if there is any way of seeing the total budgeted cost for the project as an s-curve or can I only see labour resource graphs in P3e??

I can potentially work around this by making my P3 finish milestones 1 day activites so that once imported they become labour costs.

Has anybody else had this problem?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like I was looking at resource profile and not activity profile.

In activity view go to Activity Usage Profile. Then right click on the profile and select Activity Usage Profile Options. On the data tab, select to display Cost and then tick the Total check box to display a curve for all costs.
