Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Total Float for the last activity

Dear Planners,

I am preparing time schedule for a project, once I finished I had a look on the massive total float for all the activities, I found some activities have massive total float (activities have no successor), so I started linke those activities to another to alleviate the total float, it was good but suddenly something happened I could not understand it, the last activity in the schedule (project completion date) has got total float (it should be zero)

Could any one tell me what to do?

I found out the problem, another activity has got the latest date, not the project completion date.

Hello Moutaz,

Try to check your "Project must finish by", in File --> Project Overview. You can remove or change it to the Finish Date of your Project.
