Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Is there any way to change the activity ID without having to copy and paste the whole thing again? For eg. the activity ID which I have now is ’EBXXXXXXX’ and I want to change it to ’MWXXXXXXX’. Please let me know how to do it.

If these activities belong to a project which belongs to a project group, then the first two characters are the project-id and you can’t change them. If you are still planning, then create a new project with the id "MW" and copy your activities into this project, e.g. by "merge".

Do you need this for P3 or p3e?
Here it’s global change as well and a good help function. You must open the project in exclusive mode.
