Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Get the message:
PROJ environment variable is too long
when running Global Changes.

The network is imported via MPX.

Any experience?
Any ideas?

The bottom line is that your total disk:directory\file name cannot be longer than 64 characters. Look here for an earlier forum on this subject. Good luck!

The problem was that the path to the project was to long.

Old treads are not easy to find these days.
The search engine is down.

Hi,
try to find from the old post thread. The problem is because the file u use is under sub directory to another make it under one sub directory only.

it might be a causing your project directory whether some of them has more than 8 characters.
