Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I have a project that has 3 periods of total suspension that needs to be built into the schedule.

Each period will be for a minimum of 14 days and while the suspendion of work is known ahead of time, the project period does not include the 42 days involved.

Is there a way to show the planned 14 day work suspensions without the time accruing against the total project time?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ASSITANCE.

If you have a need to retain the information, I would suggest that the most effective method would be to add new activities to describe the delay. In this way demonstration of the effect is much clearer and easily understood.

Right, for rainy days Calander holidays are most effective but if suspension is for any other reson effecting only that perticular activity more than once then is there any other alternative available then defining a new separate calander for that perticular activity.

Adnan,

Consider modifying your calendar to reflect the rain days.
