Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi guys,

I’ve got to change the resource curve of a number of activities. Now using xls import P3 creates a new resource instead of updating the existing one.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Heinz

Absolutely, if you have just one resource & you decide to change the curve based on your gut feeling, experience etc, you can do so by showing " Resource curve" columns.

If you have more than one resources , resource curve columns will be empty.
& if you have to change curves based on type of resources, groupings , codes etc (in an intelligent way) it is advisable to do so thru Global Change. Better Go for Global Change.
