Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Assigning a data date in P3 is tricker than you thought. It is especially true when the cost/resource data are also involved in the schedule. Please refer the follwing write-up for the reference. Go to the http://www.htcprojectcontrols.com/TTB2004-5.pdf I also welcome feedbacks. Eric Chou, PE HTC Project Controls, Inc.

Hello Eric,

Your article is good except a little typo error(for a schedule update with the "panning" unit of day should have been typed as planning unit of day), The presentation could be very useful to P3 beginners.
