Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All

How do you tell whether an assigned calendar on P6 is the global or the project calendar if you have the same calendar name under the global and the project calendar libraries?

Thanks Rodel. That sounds liek a simple enough solution. I was hoping or thinking that there was an easy way of confirming this without any such manipulation, but I note you suggestion. It would have been good if P6 used a different icon for instance for the Global calendars and another for the project calendars tp provie an easy way of knowing where the calendar is hosted.

Simply rename one of the calendars (either the global or project calendar), and you will see which calendar is assigned to your project. If the assigned calendar is the one you renamed, it will automatically update to the new name.
