Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

P6 Professional, not EPPM which is a different can of worms.

.1. on your system - if you have a serial number, can't you just keep paying the "maint. fee" and then keep getting updates for free - isn't this the best way to go?

.2. through citrix or similar - is this the above but through a corp VPM?
.3. set up on a network, at a corporation, can login to it remotely somehow I think.

similar but different:

.1. cloud access - called P6, but does not have all the abilities, ie cannot import layouts etc.  -  might provide a regular P6 access somehow.

What am I missing.

I think you are being unkind to worms, John, which have a purpose and are good at their job

Single user? Yes.

.2. through citrix or similar - is this the above but through a corp VPM?

Yes

You use ‘P6 Professional Cloud connect’ architecturally the same as Citrix, but much cheaper, which considering Oracle is involved is saying something

similar but different:

See ‘worms’ above

What am I missing.
