Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

All;

I've been asked to graph the percent complete of a project in P6. The project has a total duration that it must meet. The simple, linear way, would be to just graph the schedule percent complete on the linear total duratino and call it a day. We don't want to do it this way becasue we believe the activities or the summary bands/phases that they belong to, should be waited - ex. 24 month total project duration, demo/abatement is considered 10% of the project (i.e. 2.4 mos). If the demo is projecting to take 3 months to complete, would we simply should the demo/abatement phase "below" the linear line? The other question is, once we determine how to weigh each phase, etc. will p6 produce this graph or will we need to dump out to excel, etc.

Any feedback provided would be appreciated. Thanks.
