Why P3 Calculate backwards?

I encounter some difficulties on my P3 Schedule. P3 calculates backward in some of my the activities. On my Project Overview : Project start on 08FEB10 and Project must finish on 17AUG13.
For example I have an activity having duration of 10 days without any predecessor and succesor. So, P3 usually gives ES 08FEB10 EF 17FEB10, but on my file P3 gives ES 08AUG13 EF 17AUG13.
Is there any problems with my setting?
Why P3 calculate backwards?
How to correct this kind of activities?

Yup your correct, there is Float Constraint-Zero Free Float..ALAP

Can you check if it has Float constrain. Zero free float have that attitude same as As Late as Possible.

Then schedule..level...

It is due to the constraints which shows finish date earlier than start date
I have experianced the same and even the similar topic have been discussed in this forum.You could refer for your reference

Activity may be of ALAP (As Late As Possible) type.
And the schedule may be calculated backward - check scheuling settings.
