Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Without going into the background, when using Team Member, our Task Owners often need to update their tasks on a Wednesday and they need to mark a task as finished and give it an actual finish date of Thursday or Friday, one or two days in the future. However, the software will not let the Task Owner enter a date beyond the current date. The future dates are grayed out.

Is there a way to assign an actual finish date that is beyond the current date? I know it is bad scheduling practice to assign an actual finish date that is in the future, but we have an unusual situation needing a work around. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe you can put a constraint of "Finish on/Mandatory finish" on it
