Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I would like to update not add to an MPX file that is already been imported into P6.  The drop-down menu doesn't give me the opportunity to update the existing file.  Is there a way to update the project without replacing it.

Thanks, I'll do option 2 as I can import the file and then export as a xer and then do the update on the original file

option #1

open the project in p6 then you can select ADD to existing

option #2

if you have p3 or sure track convert the file from msp to either p3 or suretrack

then you can import the p3 project and use the update existing project option
