(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?
(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Can anyone advise why I can't change the 'Activity % Complete'??? I have % Complete Type as 'Physical' and need to update a programme.
I'm new to this and I'm sure it's something simple, help most appreciated.

in the % compleyte type you have 3 options physical, units and duration this can be at the individual activity level and can also be set at the project level.
the actvitiy % complete should be equal to whatever the physical, units or duraiton % complete is if not run a global change where activity % complete eqauls physical % complete.

Have you started the activity? and checked the activity box to started in the status bar? then update the physical % complete
