Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi MSapiens/Planners,

I'm working on an MS Project file for quite sometime. It has got a baseline that was made long ago. Now, i want to see the critical path in that baseline. Can someone suggest me on sorting this out, using either custom filters or custom fields or any other possible means.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Siddharth

Sorry Siddharth,

"Set Baseline" in MSP stores task and resource information, but not logic/relationships or float.  Since it is not possible to recover any logic from a stored baseline, you can't recover the baseline critical path.  Best practice is to save a separate mpp file of the baseline project.

Good luck, tom
