- Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering and Material Planning Department necessary in the preparation of Production and Shipping schedules with compliance to client’s specifications and requirements.
- Generates detailed planning information (Gantt Charts, Histograms, PERT charts, Baseline Schedules, WBS) based on priorities, fabrication drawings & available resources.
- Lead a small group of Planners in releasing Work Orders to shop floor to meet established priorities.
- Monitor daily supply and production progress in PMTR; review and update changes to project scope and assess the effects on baseline schedule and milestones.
- Verify progress and performance against plan; identify areas of potential schedule overrun requiring corrective action.
- Conducts plant walks as needed to validate physical progress and productivity.
- Independently, or under limited supervision, recommends advanced scheduling and planning techniques and/or contribute technical analysis in order to improve and smoothens manufacturing processes.
- Reviews resource loading; prepare reports on a regular basis; and maintain documentation as per procedure.
- Monitors and reviews subcontractor’s schedules and provide feedback to Project Management on areas of underperformance or variance against contract or baseline schedules.
- Participate in scheduled review meetings to discuss project progress and to assist in developing alternatives to accommodate changes in priorities.
