Administration & Public Relations Manager

Main Duties:

§  Working with the Vice President – Corporate Affairs and other Heads of Departments for selecting and prioritising requests for administrative support in order to plan the workload of the Administration team ensuring that the activities of OOCEP are supported and those administrative services are provided in a sustainable way.

§  Managing a team of 10 employees including Planning and allocating work, monitoring achievement of deadlines, and supporting staff as appropriate.

§  Negotiating with external providers of services to secure the best possible deals and monitor relevant expenditure, resulting in substantial cost savings.

§  Ensure effective processes for ordering and monitoring stock levels of stationeries and consumables. 

§  Maintain an updated register for the company’s Omanistation target and statistics.

§  Supervise and manage the OOCEP new head office building project from beginning to end, with an objective to ensure timely completion and within budgetary constraints.

§  Assist the Corporate HSE Team with all logistical support, within OOCEP and sites.

§  Manage the Commercial Registration(CR) activities of OOCEP and safe custodian of original CR documents.

§  Manage the lease and tenancy agreements of OOCEP office and guest houses.

§  Management & supervision of administrative services and PR administration, including obtaining labour clearances, getting employment visas, residence permits, renewal of  visas/permits etc.,

§  Develops budget recommendations for operating expenditures and/or capital outlay, personal services, equipment and materials.

§  Manage all the companies’ events such as the contracts signing ceremonies, staff quarterly lunch, and staff annual away day.

Liaise with the health insurance company for all the staff health matters such as issuance of new members cards and settlement of claims etc.,
