Delay Analyst and Senior Planning Consultant, Ctori Construction Consultants Limited , Crossrail

START Date:
August, 2014
END Date:
December, 2015

Invited to work on Crossrail as a Consultant, I was asked to perform the task in integrating Design, Procurement & MEP Fit Out. These items were still at tendering logic and it was recognised that this logic no longer demonstrated the true critical path.
With inclusion of outstanding PMI’s, a fully functional programme was created to follow on from Civil Construction milestones and later became the MOHS Programme for Acceleration worth 46m and a further 5m Bonus to achieve agreed milestones.

  •   Creator of the MOHS Programme for Acceleration

  •   Created MEP Programme Logic (Based on Duration)

  •   Implementing PMI’s to Support PD’s stand on Duration and Cost

  •   Implementing Best Practice Planning Philosophy to ensure accurate reporting

  •   Measuring Impact that commercial events have on the baseline programme

  •   Performing forensic analysis to identify risks & opportunities within the programme. The key components

considered where keys dates, durations, logic, constraints, lag & programme interfaces. This found 6 weeks of float and was accepted as mitigation without having to go down the route of acceleration for example..

  •   What If Analysis on acceleration & delays on programme. Design Sub-Contractors were issued EWN on the information reported and assessed their internal resource in which they later allocated more teams to ensure design & it’s quality no longer impacted Construction.

  •   Undertake 4 Weekly Contract Programme Reviews, using codes to identify all slippage on programmes

  •   Monitor and control critical components on a regular basis to ensure that the project is executed

according to schedule and report discipline leads.

  •   Presenting a series of planning workshops to the internal & external PM’s to achieve total buy in to the

contract programme, demonstrating the findings in the What If? Analysis & Planning Best Practice

    Reports.

  •   Measuring Contractor Programmes & Helping with Final Contract Details to Appoint Sub-Contractors

  •   Directing Design Solutions to enable acceleration for MEP & Commissioning.
