As a Project Planner in HATCH, Australia – one of the leading EPCM multinational organisation, working for Grosvenor, Moranbah South & Dartbrook PFS, FS & implementation (coal mine development) projects in Bowen Basin of QLD for Anglo American Metallurgical Coal, gathered contract scope, prepared schedule basis, carried out schedule development, integrated various subcontractors schedules into a master schedule, prepared cost & resources loaded schedules, estimate & analyse man-hours distribution, generate & freeze project baselines, report project critical path, prepare reports such as critical & near critical activities, total Activity float, open end report, responsible party, assign engineering work packages (EWPs) / Construction work packages (CWPs), prepare & send progress input workbooks to all discipline leads, follow-up & gather information, updated schedules periodically, carry out schedule analysis after each progress updates, raise alarms on slippages (especially on critical & near critical activities), generate s-curves/histograms, attend meetings, provide the schedule performance feedbacks to all the key team members, prepare & distribute 1-3 months look-ahead schedules to ensure things are on track. Effective use of Primavera P6 to perform most of the above tasks and also assisted in preparing cash flow/commitment/commodities curves.

Worked for Bechtel’s Hay Point Expansion (HPX3) project includes Coal loading jetty, ship loader and associated facilities, provided schedule assistance to project control team, gathered progress mark-ups & updated schedule regularly, incorporate project changes, logic changes, create and assign resources/activity codes to view reports discipline/area/phase/WBS/ packages wise into the schedule, maintained master schedule and assisted in project support services.
