Supervise & manage Jr. Planners / schedulers / estimators and other technical staff.
•Prepare Base Line Schedules of the projects considering scope of work, agreed milestones and constraints outlined in contract documents keeping all stake holders involved and satisfied with their requirements about the projects.
• Estimate resources (manpower & construction equipment) requirements and developing resources loaded schedules.
• Monitor & control of the project schedules by performing critical path analysis, variance analysis, trend analysis and earned value analysis.
• Follow up and control of Project Plans by updating Engineering, Procurement, Subcontracts & Construction Logs and recommending for preventive and corrective actions on anticipated or actual delays.
• Coordinate Engineering and other subcontractors for execution of their scope.
• Update of Level II / III / IV plans and generation of 3 weeks, One month and 3 months look a head plans keeping in view overall project deliverables & mile stones.
• Prepare Weekly & Monthly Work fronts & Targets for all disciplines in scope of work in coordination with discipline engineers & considering schedule deadlines.
• Prepare Project Progress Reports on Monthly, Weekly & Daily basis considering all stake holders requirements.
• Project Planning, Progress Monitoring and Invoicing Procedures, Planning Package, along with all required formats and getting them approved from Clients.
• Prepare data for Project Invoicing, reviewing and approving sub contractor’s invoicing, recording actual man-hours and costs against budgeted values for Productivity analysis and earned value analysis; and preparing cash flow curves.
•Create/modify Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and budget data (including resource loading) for those WBS elements, using primavera P6.
• Participate in Project Status and issues Meetings with all concerned departments and Clients for smooth running of the several Oil & Gas, Infrastructures, Petrochemicals, refinery & power generation multimillion dollar projects for different clients like SUNCOR, SYNCRUDE, PETRO CANADA, ENBRIDGE, and SHELL etc.
• Generate Summary Status reports, Project Presentations and analysis reports for higher management.
• Prepare Schedules and Resource Histograms for Bids / Proposals of new projects
• Support the project team in the development and maintenance of any periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) status reports to keep management and/or owner informed on the project progress. These reports may include labor productivity, schedule status, financial analysis, Cost Performance Reports (CPR) and earned value curves
