More than 38 years experience in PERT and CPM project time management techniques. Fascinated how these techniques, based on the Standard Practices of the Project Management Institute (PMI)  for Project Management ( PMBOK), EVM ( Earned Value Management) Scheduling and  Risk Analysis, can contribute to managing projects.

Most of planning and scheduling experience gained in the design, procurement, engineering & construction and commissioning of offshore platforms, substructures, living quarters and mooring buoys. Also broad experience in heavy civil works such as bridges, docks, link spans,  dock gates and many other heavy steel structures.

Expert knowledge in the strategic implications of schedule preparation, the development of project time management systems and techniques to manage and communicate the project schedule. This applies to tender planning, project planning, production planning and portfolio planning.

Sound knowledge of delay, disruption and forensic analysis techniques to support Extension Of Time (EOT) issues.

A specialist in the development and implementation of EVM( Earned Value Management) techniques and advanced knowledge of Risk Analysis techniques.

Expert knowledge of schedule recovery and acceleration issues and schedule compression and acceleration options.  

Extensive experience in training and coaching young professionals in project time management.

Loves to share knowledge on project time management and is the regular contributor on the Planning Planet forum and various groups at LinkedIn.
