(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello,

I'm currently developing a BIM type software and I would like to export the BOQ (with quantities, resources, etc.) in Spider.

It can be done very easily using .txt files and then imported in Spider but I was wondering if the .txt files can be compiled in a .sprj file so an user can simply open the exported data.

Thank you.

Ok, thank you.

A script launched from your software may open Spider, create project from txt files, save it as sprj and close Spider automatically without the user interference.

Thank you for your answer.

The difference when using txt/sprj files:

- with the text files an user must open Spider, go to File > Create Project > From txt files > select the folder.

- with a sprj file an user would just double-click the file to open it.

So there is no way to do it without using (opening) Spider or using a script to run (open) Spider?

Thank you.

Spider Project creates project from txt files and this project can be saved as sprj.

This process can be automated using script. This script can be launched from external software, in this case it is the same as exporting directly to sprj.
