Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Is it possible to learn planning online?
Where in the network you can find planning sources, planning tutorials, planning theory? How young planners can learn the planning?

We have a planning primer available for free on our site, but it is geared towards shutdown/turnaround planning for the petrochemical industry. Still, much of the information should apply to other planning niches.

If anyone wishes to develop or contribute towards some potential "Good Planning Practice Guides" for any planning processes etc, the guys at PP would be happy to set aside a part of the PP Community Site to house and develop these documents (obviously giving full acknowledgement, control and / or ownership to the various contributors).

This would need volunteers to lead and drive this endeavour.

Any volunteers?

Azer,
Good Point. I currently do not know of on-line learning for Planning. I am aware of companies offering courses by distance learning, but generally these cover project management, with a module or so on Planning.
Have you tried looking at the Training Section on this Forum. The forums for software tools may help, but generally presume that you know Planning though.
