Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

My company has just decided to upgrade everyone to Office XP. I was worried about compatibility with old files, but they say that won’t be a problem. I was wondering what version of Office most people on this forum use. If you’ve upgraded, do you think it was worthwhile?

Thanks
Kate

Microsoft usually does a good job of ensuring backwards compatibility. You will not have difficulties reading older files. You may have difficulties sharing Office XP files with non-Office XP users, however, if you save to newer XP formatted files.

Dear Kate,
You dont have any problem in this case. Windows Xp supported any old files.
