Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi guys,

I'm looking for ideas about syntax to use with Primavera P6 to get all activities with out of sequence logic. We've to activities with FS lag to predecessor that's starting early creating high float. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Simon

Let me detail what Gary said.  You need to go to the Schedule Screen (Tools / Schedule menu item or just, F9 Key) and click on the “Log to file” checkbox.  Ensure that the file name listed below is reasonable.  Now click on the Schedule button.

Once done, go back to that same Screen (F9) and this time, click on the View Log button.  This will show you the schedule log.  In there is a section titled, "out-of-sequence activities."  It is not a particularly informative report (the P3 report was much better) but it is better than nothing.  Good luck!

Simon,

Look at your schedule log -this will list all out of sequence activities for you.

Cheers,
