Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello planners, on Activity A, Original Duration 5 days, Resource 1 is working 8 hour/day Activity Actual Start is Monday and Actual Duration 2 days Update Progress on Tuesday night shows Resource 1 Actual Units = 16h, 8 on Monday and 8 on Tuesday On Wednesday night, I schedule the project to show that there was no work at all on Activity A on Wednesday; on the Activity Usage Spreadsheet, P6 shows that Resource 1 worked 5,33 hours per day during 3 days, when I want to read 8 hours per day during 2 days and 0 on Wednesday I cannot find where the setup is Please somebody help! Hi,

That happens because the default resource curve is linear or rectangular.

My advise is use a modified resource curve to control what you wish to define.
