Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi,

can i check the procedure to sort by activity code instead of WBS?

I tried the group and sort options but there’s no activity code for sorting

Lucas,
When defining Activity Codes Planner/User can also organise the sort order/ sort sequence by clicking arrow up and down.
Another option is on Group & Sort function there is a tick box for sort bands alphabetically.
Note: Activity code is a text so when using numeric character make sure to use zero first followed by the number:
Ex: 01, 02, 03…etc…

Lucas,
When you create the activity code make sure you give it a unique name. Generally I will prefix mine either with my initials or the project identifier for which it will be used, to make it easy to find and /or provide ownership of the code so other users don’t modify or delete it.

When you group and sort you search for the codes name in the drop down selection.
