Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

My understanding for Spending plan , Budget summary & Funding, which is manually entered to the project, which does not have any relation with the activities in the project.

All this functions are just like entering the data in an Excel sheet and then later can be monitored......

Is my understanding is correct or all these have some other uses...Pls explain....

Yes i understand.......so to conclude , it is like an Excel spread sheet , where we can input datas of our budget, spending plan for all projects........and compare accordingly......nothing more than that....

Spending Plan, Budget & Summary are use in pre-planning stage.
Very useful in comparing BL Value, Current Project Value within EPS, Project and WBS level when running summary. Commonly used in Project Dashboard.
