Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

opening project activities not showing directly

hi all

whenever i open project (my laptop vista home windows), the activities are not showing directly, so i click project menu-activities in order to show it

i have tried it in other computer and its opening directly

what could be the problem? is there any settings i might have changed?

You mean even if you are in Activity Window and press Ctrl+o and open a project it goes back to Project Window?

still the same if i use ctrl o or file-open

it still not directly opening to activity layout

Sorry Pinan, It’s weird and I haven’t encountered that problem yet. Can you try to open project from the Activity Window if you will have the same problem? (File-> Open or press Ctrl+o)

hi rodel

its not about startup window, my default is activities,

what i am trying to do is after picking up a project that i want to open, i right click then open project at project layout, but activity layout doesn’t show. so i need to click from project menu then activities to open the activity window.

hope you have an idea

PINAN,

You can set the start up windows under Edit-> Users Preferences then select Application tab. Under Application Startup Window change it to Activities.
