(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

oracle DB passwords regarding P6

I had an issue a couple of days ago when installing the SDK.

suddenly, P6 v7 could not connect to the oracle db.

what are the default passwords used by P6 v7 to connect to the oracle db? namely for the below accounts.

HR
ADMPRM$PM
PRIVPRM$PM
PUBPRM$PM
ADMPRM$MM
PRIVPRM$MM
PUBPRM$MM

Dont know about P6 v6.x but
admuser, privuser, and pubuser are according to the P5 manual are P5 usernames.

Wonder if P6 v6.x also have the newer usernames...

admuser, privuser, and pubuser
respectively have the passwords
admuser, privuser, and pubuser

from here I deduct that

ADMPRM$PM
PRIVPRM$PM
PUBPRM$PM

Connect to PMDB and actually mean
user: admuser password: admuser DB: PMDB
user: privuser password: privuser DB: PMDB
user: pubuser password: pubuser DB: PMDB

respectively and

ADMPRM$MM
PRIVPRM$MM
PUBPRM$MM

are the same username combinations but set to connect to MMDB.

thus trying
user: PUBPRM$PM with password PUBPRM$PM to connect to PMDB will get use nowhere? as there is no PUBPRM$PM user?
actually what that means is
user: pubuser password: pubuser db:PMDB

can anybody clarify please?
