Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi Arun,

With P6, the solution of your problem is very simple.

How to copy a project.

1. Go to Enterprise --> Projects, highlight the project you want to copy. Simply right click then select "Copy". Right click again then select "Paste" . You can paste it anywhere you wish in the EPS node, all the check box must be marked and select OK.

2. Open the project you want copy and go to File --> Export --> Primavera PM/MM - (XER).

How to maintain and assign baseline.

1. When you finish the step #1 on how to copy a project, open your current project and go to Project Menu --> Maintain Baselines... Select "Add" you can select a "Save a copy of the current project as a new baseline" or "Convert another project to a new baseline of the current project" then select OK.

2. When done, go to Project Menu --> Assign Baselines...Now you can select a Project Baseline or User Baselines..

Regards,

Arnold
