Fox,

When I update my baseline, 1 or 2 of my LOEs’ dates do not get updated in baseline eventhough I run the update process 2 or 3 times. Also, I noticed some or all completed activities’ dates do not get updated either. Plus everytime I update I recieve the famous error message. Any ideas? I am using V.6.2.

I am not too willing to detach the baseline, update it manually and attach it back again! Any comments?

Cheers!

Hi Ruel,

Thanks for the reply but you can not change BL Start and Finish dates manually by adding their columns and changing! The only way you can change baseline is either updating that or rebaseline?! As I mentioned, rebaseline does have issues which P6.2 did not fix yet and I want to know if others have solutions. Please read my original question.

Sean,

Is your schedule date driven? What we do here is we add 2 columns which are BL Start and BL Finish (as targets) and change the start and finish columns to actual start/finish respectively. Input the actual work dates on a particular scope then make a run (F9; datadate).

Hope this helps!

Cheers!
